Stylized Substance Designer Materials

Been working on hard on getting better stylized results 100% SD and finally got much better results using a special pixel processor node I made and a matcap generation node structure to get zBrush like matcap renders that I then use to overlay on top of color. Took a lot of thinking but glad I finally got something better down.

I studied lots of old WOW textures and newer ones to see color pallets and get an idea for stylized look.
I have known many stylized textures are done using a matcap render from zbrush then paintover so I tried to replicate that workflow in SD with my matcap node.

Became inspired by Ethan Scheu's stylized work to get back to work on making stylized content. You can see is phenomenal work here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/8PgqQ
Really like his wood a lot!

These textures should become available next week at gametextures.com

Rendered in cycles blender.
