I am so use to doing everything in designer ever since I started that I actually never practiced much with modelling materials so I wanted to make a bit of an abstract sci-fi cooling system material utilizing both modelling and marvelous designer. The MD part was really fun and I think I will make many more materials in the future using it.
After modelling everything out I baked in TB3 then put everything together inside SD. I also wanted to try out Blender 2.8 Eevee and it is really nice! Can't wait for official release that is more stable. The only trouble I have had in eevee is it looks like the roughness is quite different from how it appears in designer, then again metals for me have always appeared different when going from SD to TB3.
