Roots Photogrammetry

My second finished scan. These where some roots up at my college that I have been waiting to scan for a long time. I have to wait for the perfect cloudy weather because these roots where under trees and I could not have shadows from the branches moving about.

This scan will be passed off to my colleague Matt Dirks where he will turn this into finished products with different variations.

I used a monopod that I held vertically this time. I would walk just a tad then take a pic. Scanning took about 8 minutes, I was surprised how much my arms hurt by the end holding that camera out for 8 minutes. It is exhausting.
